Way to go Painting II students!

Painting II students created a 40' mural for the MTA Sports Center. Students started with an abstract color scheme similar to the MTA logos and ads. They cut silhouette stencils to complete the spray paint and acrylic design.

AP Studio Visit to Antiquated Press

Thank you to Joe & Donna Carr of Antiquated Press for teaching the rare method of Intaglio printmaking to students at Mat-Su Central onsite with a thorough historical overview of the craft, instruction about the tools and process, and studio visits for offsite printing to complete student projects.
